How to tell which animal it is

- Cat:
=^ ^=whiskers and ears, or anωmouth. - Dog:
Ushapes on the sides as floppy ears. - Bear:
ʕ ʔround ears, or a snout in brackets. - Bunny: tall ears or a small
xmouth. - Bird: a beak like
өin the middle. - Pig: a snout made of
(oo). - Fish: brackets for a body and
彡for a tail. - Monkey: an
@on each side as round ears. - Owl: curly brackets
{ }around big eyes and a tiny beak. - Bat and spider: wings like
/|\or bent legs like/╲/\on both sides.
Animals you can type anywhere
Some animals are built from such common characters that they survive almost any app or game chat. A pig is a snout of plain letters, (・(oo)・). An owl is curly brackets and a comma, {•,•}. The classic bat, /|\ ^._.^ /|\, uses only keyboard keys. Monkeys borrow one small Japanese letter for the snout, which phones carry too. Each of these has its own page now, so tap “See all” on its row for sleeping, hugging and waving versions.
Picking an animal
Many people choose one animal as their “signature” and use it in their name, bio and greetings. Choose one that matches your vibe: cats feel cool and cute, bears feel cozy, bunnies feel soft, frogs feel calm and funny. Then visit that animal’s page to find it waving, sleeping or sending love. If you cannot find the exact one, build it in the Kaomoji Maker.
Questions
Which animal should I start with?
Cats are a favourite, with bears, bunnies and dogs close behind. Start with the animal you like in real life.
Is there a pig kaomoji?
Yes. Pig faces have an (oo) snout, like (・(oo)・). The pig page has all of them.
Is there a unicorn kaomoji?

Which animal faces work on every phone?
Pigs, dogs with U ears, fish and simple bird faces use common characters, so they show up almost everywhere.
